Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations for major construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, schedules, and safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to check quality, productivity, and compliance.
- Resolve site issues, delays, and technical challenges promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE safety regulations, company policies, and local authority requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation.
- Manage workforce allocation and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Oversee material delivery, storage, and usage to minimize waste.
- Attend coordination meetings and communicate project updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5–10 years of on-site construction supervision experience.
- Proven experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, regulations, and HSE practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and enforce engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in reporting tools and basic MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE Driving License.
- Experience with high-rise, villa communities, or infrastructure projects.
- Safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an added advantage.
